A four-question wizard recommends a license (with full text and the canonical SPDX id), and a checker reads your package.json or requirements.txt, resolves each dependency’s license from the public npm or PyPI registry, and flags conflicts against your chosen license.

The logic and license texts run in your browser; only per-dependency registry lookups touch the network. This is informational guidance, not legal advice.
